During Thankful for Alpacas, you can feed, pet, and even give a friendly alpaca kiss while learning just how wonderfully God designed these animals. Their fleece is one of His remarkable creations — hypoallergenic, moisture-wicking, antibacterial, and antimicrobial — providing warmth and comfort without harm to the animal or the earth. Every strand of fiber reminds us of His wisdom in crafting a world where everything has purpose and beauty.

Guests can enjoy free alpaca coloring sheets to write what they’re thankful for, and explore our sensory fiber station to feel how amazing alpaca fiber truly is and learn about how it is used to create everyday products as well as beautiful works of art. There will also be an educational display station showing how alpaca fiber is processed, highlighting the various stages in the process — from shearing to spinning to the finished product.

The farm store will be open with alpaca products, seasonal goods, and locally made items.

🦙 Up-close Alpaca Encounters – Feed, pet, and enjoy time with our friendly herd. $10 per basket of feed to feed the alpacas. One basket fills up the blue feeding bowl 5/6 times.
